What do they mean sized at 3 x 5, what if it's a square LO, it can be 5 x 5 as long as it's 72 dpi and less than 100 k right?

Holy moly!! I wonder if they're going quarterly or something... calls weren't this early last time, right? Deadline on this is Dec. 11 ladies!!

I'd like to know what the 3 x 5 means too! I do all my LO's in 12x12 and resize to 8x8 to print. I just don't think they would look right if I shrunk them to 3x5. TIA!!!

i wondered the same thing, i ended up submitting a page, 5x5, 72 dpi under 100K. i tried resizing to 3x3 but it was super-tiny so decided to go with the 5x5. i thought the submit form was weird, not geared toward a digi-scrapper, with the whole scanned in part...good luck ladies!

I'll be submitting a few, but probably won't be making any new layouts for this call. Good luck, ladies!

Digital Scrapbooking 5
Deadline: 12/18/2005
Calling all pixel-masters! We're looking for your greatest, freshest digital creations, whether created entirely with your computer or with a mix of digital and traditional supplies. We'd especially like to see completed, creative projects: from bound albums to multimedia extravaganzas. And if you've been inspired by a particular source—a layout in Simple Scrapbooks, a pillow bought at a discount store, a fast-moving music video—we'd like to know that too. Please include a description of any cool or step-saving techniques you've used, as well as a complete supply list. Submissions without a supply list cannot be considered. Submissions are due December 18.
Scan as jpegs (72 dpi at no more than 100 KB, sized at 5 x 5), attach, and submit along with the following:
# contact information – name, complete mailing address, email address and phone number

I am glad that they revised their deadline - that was a pretty tight timeframe!
Thanks for the update!

Does anyone know if it has to be LOs that have not been viewed in a public gallery? Or can we pull from our galleries for this?

Usually, it's okay to have already been in your gallery. You'll just have to replace it with a "Temporarily Removed for Publication" thumbnail once you've been contacted by them... :regular_s

Wasn't so worried about the time thing, but I am glad they clarified that whole
3 x 5 issue! Still, 5 x 5 seems like alot to size down a LO,...seems like you would lose alot of fine detail.
