Help! does anybody have an idea?

Hi!

I am having such a hard time with something and just can't seem to figure out what the problem is.

I use Adobe Photoshop CS.

Recently, when I type out text, then move on to a new layer, half of my text dissappears! Even if I just type out one letter and then enlarge it or move it...sometimes the entire text dissappears!

What is happening, does anyone know?
