Yeah, that's a good one!!! I also use the Dreamy filter by AutoFX.

I used to use the Dreamsuite but since I'm *very* impatient when it comes to my computer, I stopped using those. Now I just use Dave Jaseck's photography actions... If I use filters, they're the ones that are in PS already...

I'll have to check out Dave's stuff!

The ones I use the most are Midnight Sepia (which looks great when you turn it to b&w) and one called Custom Vignette. (I can't remember if he made that one or not. This one is perfect for that soft, subtle pro photog effect). Check out actioncentral.com .

I have a favorite now! Mister Retro Washing Machine 2! AMAZING.

07-11-2005, 01:39 AM
Mister Retro is pretty cool

07-18-2005, 12:11 PM
does anyone know of a filter for :?: sparkles

07-18-2005, 03:19 PM
Oooh I've been wanting the Mister Retro ones too. In know they come in cd form, but do they have an option to download them too maybe? It's just the impatient me not wanting to wait on mai.

I like Virtual Photographer a lot too, y'all have already mentioned that one. And I like the dreamsuite demo. I'd actually like to have that whole set, but that's pretty $$$ isn't it.

I don't know if this is technically a filter or not, but in Microsoft Picture It, there are some really cool illusions you can use on your photos to make them look like drawings with chalk or pen or whatever or different types of watercolor, stuff like that. I don't use that program to scrap with, but I find that particular part of Picture It is easier for me than fooling with the artistic filters in PS7.

I DLd Virtual Photographer and OMG.. I've been having so much fun!

I've been eyeing the Mister Retro filters, but I'm gonna try and be a good chickie and hold off on them. For anyone that has them, how do you like them? Which one is better Machine Wash Filter I or II?

(sigh)So many things...not enough cash flow, lol!

I'd be interested to know if people have a preference between 1 and 2 of Mr. Retro as well - I eye them all the time, but just haven't been able to justify spending the money, maybe if it was just one . . .LOL

While eyeing them, I found myself leaning more towards II. I wish there was a way to pick and chose which ones you wanted, lol.
