is weigh in day for me. Its been 1 month so far of no snacking (cheated a couple of times), drinking only water and tea, running (couch to 5k program), walking the other days of the week. I feel good , my clothes are a bit loose and the running is progressing which makes me feel stronger and like I am getting fit. I wonder what the scale will reflect. I am happy though and thats what counts, going to keep going with it no matter what. How is everyone doing on their goals?

I wasn't a part of the group that may be checking in... but wanted to post some encouragement... those things you mentioned are just as important if not more than stepping on your scale!!! Feeling your clothes looser and feeling better are great indicators that things are going how you would like!!!!
My biggest thing in my quest to lose a few and be a bit healthier is the NO snacking like you mentioned. It has been a year and I am down to my last 10 pounds.... and hopefully to my lowest weight since Before I got married!!!! The other biggies for me were that I don't eat after 8 and have stepped up my water intake...as well as eating a big lunch (like huge) and a small dinner if any.... I sit with my boys, and have the veggie if i'm hungry...
Weigh in or no weigh in... what you posted is a great achievement! I hope you meet your numerical goal too! :) Good Luck!!!!

I agree Jenn, its all about the feeling not the number and I wanted to make that clear. Good for you on your accomplishment!!!!

That's awesome, Heather! I hope the scale shows all the work you've put in, but it's awesome to hear how much you've done!
Jenn, that's fantastic! Good for you :good:
We're 2/3 of the way through week 3 in C25K. It's going really well, but we're waiting on run #3 until this horrid heat breaks. I hate winter, but this isn't any easier to run in!! :thud:
I'm in a very weird position. DH could lose a few pounds (he can get an additional discount on our health insurance if he loses about 10 pounds and a few inches from his waist), but I don't need to lose anything, and could actually put a few pounds back on. Unfortunately, that makes it really tough to cook, especially with three kids who all like different things!! I've managed to keep from losing weight, which means DH isn't losing either.... :giggle:

My goal for the year is to lose 4 kg. I've lost 2 so far, but basically I'm just back to my regular weight of 52kg. I just can NOT get passed the 52 mark. I don't really snack and I'm working out 3 to 4 times a week. Do you think that a body has a certain weight that it doesn't want to go lower than??? Its not like I'm not flabby, so I just don't know what more to do.... but I've only got 5 months left to lose the other 2 kg.

i have no idea. It could be hidden fats that you are unaware of, caloric intake?
