HELP! I cannot purchase from your site

I'm desperate. I REALLY need 2 of your kits to proceed with my Christmas Card but no matter what I do, your site doesn´t let me purchase them. I didn´t have a PayPal account so I created one just to purchase from your site. The Paypal site doesn´t let me go ahead with my order because it says the address of my VISA card (Japan) doesn´t coincide with my current Paypal address (Spain). I normally reside in Japan but I am temporarily back home in Spain until the end of the year.
I have been struggling with this for 2 weeks now. I buy from Amazon all the time with my VISA card and never had any problems. Is there please a way to purchase from your site with a regular VISA? I already tried the option within PayPal that says "pay with a credit card if you don´t have a Paypal account" but at the end of the process it tells me "the merchant cannot ship to Japan!!!". It´s desperating. Please help.

I'm very sorry that you are having trouble with PayPal's site! We only work with PayPal because we feel like that's the safest and most secure option for our customers and their information.

I'm surprised that PayPal is giving you such trouble, even when you go through the option to pay with your credit card. I would suggest you try contacting them to see what they can do to help you! Certainly I would think that a representative should have the power to edit this for you, to make things work. :yeshuh:

Hi Nicole,
Thank you for your email. I have spoken with PayPal Spain just today and they have told me that they do not accept any credit cards from countries outside of Spain, thus the error I receive in my payment process. My VISA card is from my Japanese bank, and linked to my bank account in Japan.
Paypal says the only option for me is to ask for a credit card from a bank in Spain. I would do so but it is probably going to take at least 2 weeks and I neither see the need to do so nor have the time.
I am afraid I will have to give up on your kits and look somewhere else. Please let me know if there is another way&site to purchase the kits Noel: Christmas Vintage and August Grab Bag.
If I may, I would kindly suggest you review your payment policy. I purchase from the internet all the time (from both Japan and Spain) and have never encountered such problem before. It is obvius to me that Paypal cannot respond to the needs of our global world, where people like me live and work in various countries.

Hi Nicole,
Thank you for your reply. I finally managed to make payment with Paypal. My bank in Spain had to issue a cyber card since Paypal Spain doesn´t recognize credits cards from foreign banks.
Your site is great and I am really happy with the kits I bought but payment through Paypal has been an absolute nightmare.

Esther, I'm so glad you were finally able to make the purchase that you needed. I'm sure that was terribly frustrating to try and deal with PayPal and their international policies. Perhaps your corresponding with them will create an awareness of their need to make transactions easier for international customers.
