Hello! I'm here today with a challenge for you. For this challenge, we'll be using the A is for Apple (http://www.thedigichick.com/shop/A-is-for-Apple.html) Boutique Collab:

I looooooove this kit! I hope you will love playing with it, too.

So, it's that time of year--the time where little ones head back to school! I know I had fun recording our first day of school. I homeschool my kids and I was just giddy to get back to the books this year because it's so FUN to get to learn all these things together. Until I started homeschooling I never knew how much I would love it. Now I'm a huge geek about it--LOL!

Now, we are using a Back to School kind of kit for this challenge--but I didn't want to issue a general "make a back to school page" kind of challenge. You might not have those kinds of photos to scrap! So...

- Your topic will be up to you--but the theme of your page should be all about something you've learned recently. And that means, of course, that your page MUST include journaling! One thing I learned this year is that the requirements for our state don't talk about hours and a certain number of days. So, don't stress over it! (I can be way too "Type A" some times--I am working more on "Enjoying the Journey.")

- There are tons of apples in this kit, so I want you to use at least one apple element or paper on your page.

- And since I'm a font freak, I want you to use more than one font on your page (I used three).

Here is my layout:

- All layouts for this challenge MUST be posted here in this thread by Monday, August 29th before midnight, EST. You are welcome to upload your layouts to our gallery here. Be sure to tell us how you followed each step of the challenge in your description.

- To qualify for the Grand Prize, you must use the A is for Apple (http://www.thedigichick.com/shop/A-is-for-Apple.html) Boutique Collab for this challenge and fulfill all the requirements listed above.

- You are not required to use this kit in order to enter our general drawing. See the Official Rules post here in this forum for more information on our prizes for this weekend.

Oooh, what a pretty layout. You will love being able to look back years later and see what they all looked like, together on one page, on this day! :) Fun.

I haven't had any scrap time this weekend, and only sat down a little bit ago for the first of as-much-as-I-can-squeeze-in-today. I'm starting with the challenges I already have the collabs for...but I'll be shopping this evening!! Here's my Lessons layout:
