View Full Version : Gallery Upload Issue

I've been attempting to upload two specific layouts since Saturday. After hitting the Upload/Submit button, the second page for the credits and such doesn't even load, yet I'm told my upload was successful. It's only these two layouts too, the rest of the layouts I've tried to upload go through just fine. Any suggestions? (Yes, they're JPEG files, and yes they're under 100kb in size)

I'm sure you've checked this, but are they 500x500 pixels?

They have to be under 100K.. meaning 99.9 or smaller. It's annoying, but you don't get an error message if the file is too big. Check that.

They're both under 100kb and 500x500 pixels. I've uploaded them to another gallery that has the same requirements that TDC does, so I know that part is ok. I'll keep trying, hopefully it will work at some point!

Leila - sometimes if I have too much text in the message window it will flake out (it does it at SBB too). So I wait for the 2nd window or edit it if it skips the 2nd window and add the text in then. Hope that helps!

I had that happen once before, so I don't add text to that window anymore. I do it on the second page. Thanks for the suggestion.
I did some digging and it turns out that the two files I was attempting to upload are corrupted in some way. Fortunately, I still have the layered versions, so once I'm done with my current project, I'll flatten and resize again!
Thanks everyone!

LOL - Michelle....as a big journaler I found that out too when posting my stuff at certain sites.....was maddening just figuring out what is wrong.....just make it a habit to just wait to the 2nd screen to copy in my text.....

I'm glad you figured it out Leila. I need to figure out how to at least have it give an error message when something is wrong.
