100% of my digi-scrapping is on my laptop I use at work. Okay, so I know that *technically* it is illegal software, but I am in IT, so... you'd think they'd cut me some slack. But... alas...

My PaintShop was removed from my laptop without my knowledge.

This is not a good day. :(

what made it illegal? Do you have it backed up at home? Sounds horrible!

Since I am in IT, I've already checked with my "sources" to make sure my name wasn't on some list that was going to senior management. Since it's not, I re-installed it tonight when I got home. LOL! It's only illegal because it's not an app that "we" as a company/department support, and it puts the company at risk since they don't really own the license (though I do, but it's on a company PC, not my own). So... I just have to make sure I never call the Helpdesk for anything, or they'll likely remove it again.

But... I'm back in action! Whew. I felt entirely naked and vulnerable without my PSP! :)

I'm glad you found a little "loop hole" and are back in business!! Whew--that was close!

Im not saying that PSP does this, but I wouldnt suggest throwing illegal software on your computer tonight, if your not sure work will be ok with it.

1. some software slows machines down, ie chat clients and so on....
2. useful resources used up (bandwidth for updates)
3. some companies its actually a fireable offense
