January Challenges Schedule - Special Announcement

Happy New Year 2012! Don't you just love how a new year magically brings with it a desire for steps in a new, positive direction. Well, here at the Digichick we feel the same way. We are always thinking of new ideas of how to make this a better digi-home for you. :heart:

As a challenge coordinator for The Digichick I want to introduce you to a little, but wonderfully positive step that we are bringing to our Challenges this year. Last month, because our site was featured in the Artisan Notebook Magazine, our challenges were pre-announced in the challenges forum. We thought this was a good thing and have decided to make it a permanent addition to the way we run our challenges. A little something to whet your appetite and - without giving too much away - let you know what's in store as far as challenges go for the upcoming month.

So from this month, at the beginning of each month, we will post a thread pre-announcing the coming month's challenges. Like this:

Hi!!! Can I ask a question? I wondered about the template challenge on the 30th...just one day to finish a LO? Or is it the template from The Daily Details Collab? I just wondered because tomorrow I will have lots of scrapping time because of the football playoffs on TV - I think it's like 8 or 9 hours! (my husband will be busy watching them) and I want to get a head start if I can. :)

Hi Suzy! Sooooo sorry to not have noticed your question earlier.

We try to keep the easier to complete challenges - Scraplift and Template - at the end of the month. But sometimes they just fall too close to the end. For our regular monthly challenges we like to give you roughly 48 hours to complete your page, so if the challenge begins on the 30th you would have until the 1st to complete it.

Oh, okay. That's good, then. I'm trying to do all 10 challenges, but it's already the 27th and I am pretty sure I won't make it, but I gave it the old college try! :)

I know, aren't I? I do know for a fact that the Jan color palette on The Daily Details fired me up in a way I haven't been for a very, very long time!
