View Full Version : Technique Challenge - Feb 20th

Hi everyone!

This month I'm here to bring you a technique challenge. It is super simple - all you have to do is write on your photo. You can write anything you like, whether it be a date, some journaling, or a title, just as long as there is some text on your photo.

I love this technique and I will often use it on my Project Life layouts to add notes to photos. It helps me to capture all the little details that I might not normally journal about.

Here is my layout - I used the white space on my photo to add a title to my page:

I chose this fab kit, Treasured Moments (http://www.thedigichick.com/shop/Treasured-Moments.html), by Sugarplum Paperie and Sahlin Studio:

Here’s the fine print:

You must use at least 75% Digichick Goodies on your layout to qualify for points.
When you’ve finished your layout, come back to this post and leave a comment with a link to your layout. (Feel free to use our open gallery here (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/) at the Digichick if you need a place to upload your layout. We even have a spot just for challenge entries (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showgallery.php?cat=509)!)
You will earn 1 Point for participating in this challenge.
For more information about our Chickie Points System, please see this thread here (http://www.thedigichick.com/forums/showthread.php?34471-Chickie-Points-System%21).
The deadline for this challenge is January 31st.

here's mine! (I hope it didn't have to be script-type writing!)

Fantastic page Corrin! Thanks for playing along! And no, it doesn't haven't to be a script font - any kind of text is fine for this challenge

Great challenge, thanks for the inspiration to scrap this memory from when I was a kid. I explain it in the LO's description!

Thanks for the challenge! Mine is about my love of painting. That is a picture of my messy paint palette. I love that quote by van Gogh.

This was a fun challenge - I almost threw this picture away because the bird was not in frame. Glad I saved it.

Since it was writing on photos, I went for a retro Simple Scrapbooks "Get it Scrapped" look. I don't know what I think of it.

Thanks for the challenge.
