So i guess ill start it, its a fun way to get to know each other, and of course get those post counts up hehe.

Basically you just post phrases that start with Did you know....You can use DYK for short!! I goto one message board that has almost 20,000 did you know posts!! So it is certinly addicting.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who has weird family setups! My mom and I were in the hospital at the same time... she was in labor, I was in for monitoring because I fell down in the parking lot of the vet's office trying to take the dog inside.

DYK, that part of my post-partum depression after having DS2 was thinking "Oh my gosh, I can't believe I just named my son Henry!!" (in a "oh-I-hope-he-doesn't-get-beat-up-in-school" way)
DYK my husband has 30 cousins JUST on his father's side of the family.
DYK there are 2 "Jennifer Chadwell's" in my family- we both married in. And once, when we lived on the same street and had the same OB/GYN and used the same pharmacy, the tech tried to give me her prenatal vitamins when I came to pick up my birth control pills! hehehe
DYK the other Jennifer & I started a cooking club a few years back- a group of us (about 8-10) meet each month (to a different theme or key ingredient, like "brunch" or "Irish" or "apples"), each bringing a new recipe/dish. We sample everything and leave with the recipes. We look forward to it each month.
DYK this month's theme is "tea" as in things served at a tea. I can't wait!

DYK my baby is 1 today. To be exact, in 9 minutes! At this point 1 year ago, I was yelling to the nurse from the bathroom "oh, my gosh, oh, my gosh" b/c my body was starting to push him out while I was standing. I had to "candle blow" for 4 minutes to keep from pushing while my doctor ran over from his office. Andrea-- ahh, he was my 2nd. I pushed longer with my 1st!

But, DYK that DS2 was 9 pounds!! It makes me ache just thinking about it. Even though he was so easy to birth. My 1st thought was "oh, he's a boy, I knew he was a boy!" (we didn't find out before he was born), my 2nd was "Oh my gosh, that's a big baby!"
DYK that when my BF, Paige, had her daughter 13 days before my baby was born, she, too, got ill- 3x's I think, and with each time, she dialated more. The last time put her to 10cm! LOL.

Did you know...that I'm the youngest child, the middle child (twice) and the second, youngest child?

Did you know...that I met my DH online, then met him in person 6 weeks later, moved in with him two weeks after that and married him less than three months after that?

Did you know...that our son Devin was conceived two days after that?
Did you know...that both of my sons were born prematurely because of a hereditary condition that I have?
Did you know...that they were both GINORMOUS for preemies? JP was 7lbs 1oz when he was born, at 33 weeks, and Devin was 8lbs 11oz when he was born at 34-35 weeks (depends on who you ask).
Did you know...that the doctors were off be 1½lbs on JP's weight and nearly 2lbs on Devin's?
