My chicks, I am asking for your prayers for a family friend. Her name is Rosalyn and sadly she's losing her fight with cancer. She is only in her 30's and she and her husband, Nick, don't have any children. The cancer has now consumed her body. She originally told her husband not to let her die, but this evening she quietly told him that she is in so much pain that she wants to go home to God. Her faith has been a rock during this horrific time, with such faith in our Jesus. Her husband signed the paperwork this evening. The Dr's have put her on a morphine drip to keep her comfortable.
My heart is so broken as I type this. The one thing that she has asked of us during this time is simply to pray. So, I am here, extending this request to my fellow chicks.
I will post an update as I receive it.

**Update** The Dr's have told her family this morning (3.6.06) that she will likely pass today.
Thank you so much for all of your prayers and kind words. You girls are amazing- I couldn't ask for a better communtiy of support than this!
** 2nd Update** Rosalyn passed away very peacefully about 30 minutes ago. I just wanted to update this to let everyone know. Thank you so much for you prayers. Please continue to pray that God's peace would be with this family.
