Make Squares

I'm using Pain Shop Pro X and I would like to make little squares and put numbers inside.

I have no idea how even to start doing this. It's because I want to make a magnetic calendar and I need to put numbers on it. So I would like each number to be in a square that I can cut out and glue them on a magnetic.

I don't even know if I'm making sense ?!?

I was able to figure out how to put a grid on my page. Is there a way to make the grid show up when I print it?

I can't say for PSP X, but I use 8.0 (behind the times), and it gives me under print options (if I don't misrecall) the option to print "guidelines" (for cutting out images, etc.). Would that help?
