I went to the store last night, and saw a new product. An automatic shower cleaner. Now, this is interesting! You hang it off on the shower head. Press the button, and close the doors or the curtain. The thing sprays cleaner automatically, and they offer money back if it doesnt' work. So far, my husband has pressed the button 3 times! Heck, if it cuts down how many times I have to scrub, I am good with it!
Oh, it is by Dow, scrubbing bubbles, and it cost $25. That is a lot to pay, but I am always on the look out for shortcuts in housekeeping! Don't tell the FlyLady!

Very interesting... does it leave a film? Is the consistency like the regular scrubbing bubbles? I looked it up, there's a $5 coupon on scrubblingbubbles.com.

Oh man, I love my Scrubbing Bubbles, but I don't htink this product would work in my shower because my showerhead doesn't spray very far. Bummer :(

Val, from what I've seen on the commercials, it's not the actual shower head that does it, it just holds the thing up. It must be battery operated or something.
Nora, is it similar to the "clean shower" type sprays (in what it sprays on the wall)? That is so cool...I've wondered how well it actually works. :)

sounds interesting. i will have to look into it. scrubbing bathrooms is pretty low on my priority list each day, LOL... so yah, I'd LOVE to make it easier on myself too!!!

OK, we have used it for a few days now. Can't honestly say it is worth as much as they are charging. But, on the other hand, the finish is worn off of my tub (becaue it is so old), and it usually gets really grungy, really fast. Not this week. It will still have to be cleaned the old fashioned way, now and then, but certainly not as often!
Oh, it is a fine spray from a device that hangs on your shower head. And, the spray only goes at the level of the spray, so you will still have to clean above that line. (of course how many of us actually scrub the top of the shower liner every week?)

i don't think i have scrubbed my shower more than a couple times and we have lived here 9 months. it doesn't LOOK dirty, so i haven't worried about it. is that bad?

I don't know. I am kind of a freak about that kind of stuff, and I scrub mine top to bottom once a month, and I scrub the tub once a week. But, the finish is worn, so it always looks bad unless freshly cleaned. And, my hubby has a dirty job (makes plywood) and I don't even want to know what kind of crud comes in on him!
