LOL with bloggers, I personally try to leave a comment on every blog I go to.. LOL does anyone else get frustrated that you get like 100 hits, and no comments? LOL...just venting! hahahah

what about averyone else? do you leave comments? sometimes? not very often? Maybe I should put this topic up on my blog...and see if that draws out all the viewers? LOL..

this is not a pathetic plea for comments...LOL... I just hate it thats all!

I actually don't check too many blogs - I keep up with my friends, and by friends I don't mean other scrappers. I mean, people I used to go to school with - it's a quick way to stay in touch.

There are too many scrapper blogs for me to even try to keep up with - occasionally I stop by someone's blog if someone else points out something funny to me - or something that is so uttlerly unbelievable that they have to share it with the whole world - and usually in THOSE cases - I leave a comment. However, unless I feel I really have something worth saying, I don't bother - mostly because it's a waste of time - I know, I know, that sounds mean, but if I have something to tell you, it's easier for me to just TELL YOU lol through email or something because it might not be something I want all of the other comment leavers reading, or if it's just that something's neat or cute...eh, I don't need to hear those things so I just don't bother telling others (I'm trying to work on that, just cuz' I don't need fluff doesn't mean that other people don't - my hubby, he needs fluff).

Does your blog count unique visitors? Or if I go there 25 times today, would it count me 25 times?? Not that I would do that to you lol - just wondering. I am pretty much sure that the only blog I have that gets read is my MySpace blog lol - because that's where my sisters are :)

I have my momemts of frustration but I have to constantly remind myself that I started my blog for me (as more of a journal... seemed easier this way) and that it doesn't matter if anyone else reads it. I get more bummed than anything when I know some family and good friends are reading and don't comment on exciting posts... such as my daughter's first steps. But as I already said... my blog is for me first to remember the sweet blessings of daily life and secondly to share what's going on in our lives since we're so far away.

I don't read a ton of blogs but I do try to post comments when I do.

So anyway...

I get frustrated too! I don't update everyday, but I do try to get it done at least once a week. I also know that I have family and friends that are reading, but don't comment. It's my scrapping friends that do. I lurk at some blogs and comment at others and comment sometimes with those that I lurk at... not much rhythm or reason, but oh well! I try to keep the same thing in mind, that I'm doing this for me and for my family, so anything else is icing on the cake!

I'll post a comment if there's something there that I can relate to or if they asked a q and I'm replying to that... otherwise - if I'm just "lurking" and don't really know the person, I feel kinda wierd leaving a comment... kwim?

LOL - I know what you mean - I personally find it more frustating to have lots of views of my LO's and no comments - LOL
