What does referrals mean?

When you click on someones profile and see referrals...what does that mean? Thanks!

Hmm, not positive Andrea, but I'm going to guess that would be if a new member signed up and used you as the person who referred you... it would show up in your 'referrals' section. I guess I should check into this to be sure. LOL
