I knew if you googled yoru name, youd find interesting results....when i googled my name, the first things that came up were all my posts here LOL

lol- i've googled my name and found out that i'm some sort of rap artist, involved in real estate, and a South African fashion designer. all of those come up before you even reach my blog.

i just giggle at the things that people search for and my blog comes up- 'digital dream girls', 'the kelly clarkson song with the word meemaw', 'stretchy watch bands', 'i'll be dreaming of you tonight', and (my new all time personal favorite): 'cabana boy pictures.'

BUT- at least two people found it by searching for digital scrapbooking, so i'm cool with it.

I googled my name, too, Aside from member profiles from sites like this, all that is under my name is blue literature (to say it nicely!). I hope that no one would ever think I wrote that stuff! You could be sure if I did, I wouldn't use my own name!

You can actually configure your settings so that you blog would not be listed in search engines, of course, there will be mishaps, but generally robots or spiders stay away...

Thankfully I'm safe. My name is too common to get anything good. And when I put in my user name and last name, all I got was a LO that was posted on 2peas by another user (for a CJ that I was in last year) and the "Did You Know" thread here, where I said that there were 2 of us in my family with the same name.

For once, having the name Jennifer is working out for me!

Well, I google my name and my involvement with other organizations (my career's professional organization, the STC) comes up. My blog hasn't come up on any searches......yet.....

VAL - Even if i HAD been drinking - Amy Jane/Cosmo Jane/Amy Jo my crazy friend would STILL be found doing a kombucha search - she's used every meta everything she can come up with in her coding to make herself known to the kombucha and kefir world - she sells them on her blog and her website (gohealthgirl) - and she's funny - she is even crazier than i am!!

did you buy any kombucha's Kimberly?? She's my neighbor, if I kill mine or throw it out, she brings me a new one :)

I defintely knew that because my blog stats show what number of hits come from search engines and elsewhere. As a designer, I am glad I can be googled so people can find me from boards and galleries where links may not be allowed. Unfortunately, someone with my name (and NOT my body) was a playboy playmate so that comes up too but if you google christine smith digital or christine smith scrapbooking it's allllllll me ROFL
