View Full Version : Recipe Circle Journal Week 2

04-03-2006, 11:21 AM
Hi ladies! Y'all did such a great job with week 1, thanks for joining us and making this recipe journal such a success! We decided that for week two we better get the soup recipes going before the weather turns warm for good! So, if you want to join in, make a 4x6 recipe card LO and post the link here. Then, e-mail Tiff Brady your jpeg by Saturday, April 8th so that you can receive a download link to all of the recipes posted!

Let's heat up that gallery!

Are we still suppose to use the same colour pallets as we did for week 1? Just checking, I don't want to get kicked off this great recipe train. :):):)

Jheri, I don't think that we really care too much about the color scheme! Some recipes just scream different colors!

I was excited about this week's recipes (probably because Winter keeps wanting to hang around at my house) so I made this last night!

Tortilla Soup (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/14185/cat/500/ppuser/1103)

Thanks ladies!

Look great Tiff. That's one soup I have never tried. I will now for sure.
Winter sucks for sure, least we had some sun yesterday, I got me a good dose of vitamin d. :)

This circle journal is sooooo great! Thanks for all your extra work.

Yum!!! I love soups! Especially Tortilla Soup but my recipe is different than yours Tiff. (It's another Pampered Chef recipe somewhat modified by me.) I'll have to try yours!

I'm making Chili tomorrow night so that will probably be my entry. But can we please say goodbye to this nasty weather?! I want SPRING!!!

04-03-2006, 03:29 PM
MMMMMM, can't wait to try that one. I've got a stellar recipe for chicken noodle soup. I'm going to start on mine this evening.

04-03-2006, 05:38 PM
Don't shoot me, but it was 86 here today! They have the a/c pumping here at work so soup still sounds good. :) I'll be posting my potato-leek soup or maybe my potato-cheese soup. Either way, get ready for a bowl of creamy potato yumminess! LOL

I think I'll do a yummy pumpkin soup recipe I made this winter.

It's hard...I love soups, as does DH, but for some reason I just don't make them! I'm hoping this recipe circle journal will give me the boost to start :)

04-05-2006, 11:48 AM
Is it too late to join? What do I have to do?

04-05-2006, 01:00 PM
It's NEVER too late to join! Jump right in! Just make a recipe card, 4x6 and post it in the gallery, then email Tiff Brady a jpeg copy so that she can include it in this weeks recipes! We're getting some great soups ladies!

Oh. . . Derricksmom, I started messing with the icons in the reply box. I think you copy the link, then use the world icon to insert the link and put in the new word you want to use, change the color of the word. It took me a couple of times, but I got it! Woo Hoo! Yes, I am a slow learner!

04-05-2006, 02:29 PM

I'll get that to ya ASAP.... you're too funny :)

Here is my contribution Creamy Chicken & Noodles (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=14558&nocache=1), I sure hope I got the dimensions right! I'm so used to doing 12x12 & save for web in Photoshop that the 4x6 really threw me off!

04-08-2006, 01:51 AM
Here's mine for French Onion Soup: http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php?photo=14565&cat=727

I'm going to have to sit this one out :( We're moving today (I know, what am I doing online?) and have packed away all my recipes.

Oh well...there's always next week :)
