View Full Version : Recipe Circle Journal Week 4: Favorite Main Dish

04-17-2006, 03:36 AM
Now, on to the main course! Who's up for sharing their family's favorite main dish? That's the subject of this weeks recipe swap! We'd love to see what your significant other craves, or simply what your kids beg to eat for dinner!

If you want to contribute a recipe to this weeks swap, simply create a 4x6 layout/card and submit it to the gallery. Post a link here so we can see what you come up with! Then, send Tiff Brady a jpeg of your card by Saturday, April 22nd so we can include it in the download link.

If you participated in the Salad exchange, your links should find their way to your email inbox soon! Thanks for making this swap so much fun!http://www.scrapartist.com/scrapforums/images/smilies/smile.gif

I've got delicious crab cakes that are a combination of my old high fat recipe and Cooking Light's low fat recipe. DH says that he's never had better at any restaurant. :) Maybe a few other things, too...I'll have to see.

My favorite is actually a weight watcher's recipe. Chicken with Black Bean Salsa. DH's is my eggrolls. So, I will try to do both.

Sinead- I think I know the one you're talking about. We love that one! And I modify it a little as I think it's too "light"- needs a little more to keep it all together.

Here's my recipe: http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/15593/cat/500/ppuser/1958

It's for my version of crab cakes. I've combined and modified several recipes, including a Cooking Light recipe. That means that this recipe is pretty good for you compared to some of the other crab cake recipes out there.

Mine is cooking light, too- but I forgot to put that on my card (sometimes it's nice to know, right! hehe)
