I am trying to set up my photography site, I am using freewebs.com.
Their tech support really bites, and I am still lost. I have uploaded my index from microsoft front page, I have uploaded my coming soon image from mypictures, and I still have a big red x on my site.
Memory Lane Photography (http://www.memorylanephotograph.com/)
Tech support said that I need to change my image source code to <img src="file.format">
umm.... ok... where? Can you please help?

when I click on veiw source this comes up
<html>
<head>
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=windows-1252">
<title>Home Page</title>
<meta name="GENERATOR" content="Microsoft FrontPage 5.0">
<meta name="ProgId" content="FrontPage.Editor.Document">
<meta name="Microsoft Theme" content="none, default">
<meta name="Microsoft Border" content="none, default">
</head>
<body bgcolor="#000000">
<p align="center">
<img border="0" src="../myweb/comingsoon-web.jpg" width="700" height="572" align="middle"></p>
</body>
</html>
the part in bold is the area that you must be having to deal with...maybe the src=" needs to be in its own <img src=> I think its there...its just showing me the abbreiviated version...sorry..wish I could help more...hopefulyl some else will... and I am assuming that you have this image already uploaded onto the server?

CUTE photo, Andrea! Glad you got it sorted out! HTML is really picky about tags and brackets, so whenever you have a problem with it those are two things to check first. :)
