So I got to thinking - what are you chickies up to this weekend?? Post a picture of something you are doing this weekend or did on a weekend......and don't worry - it doesn't have to be a layout.....just a photo, ok? So watcha' doing?

I'm struggling with homework and wishing I'd done this a few weeks ago...and, in the meantime, working on a kit :) . We're on the front porch now and I'm debating on whether to get in the van and go get some dinner so I can enjoy about an hour of peace and quiet from my kids (thank God for the DVD player in the van) or just struggle through the next couple of hours until they go to sleep and I can really concentrate on this project. Can you say "they're driving me crazy, today"?!?!?
ETA: Oh, yeah, you asked for photos, huh ;) ? Well, here are some from last night and it looks like we spend our time pretty much the same way you do!http://kathymoore.daynote.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/05/caseypool.jpg

I cut the grass and did some weedeating today. Maybe a picture of it tomorrow. :) Now my front yard looks like the prettiest front yard on the block, though (I cut the grass really short so that it's nice and neat and green). DH won't go in a consistent pattern (likes to "mix it up," he says), which drives me nuts, so I'd prefer to cut the grass myself. It's the only thing in my life that I can do that stays done for a few days (unlike cooking, cleaning, laundry), so I enjoy it! lol

We haven't done anything photo-worthy this weekend...yet. I had some bloodwork done this morning and then we went to the new Marshall's and a few book stores after that. Nothing photo-worthy...yet. There's always tomorrow!
Sinead, my dad does the varying patterns with his lawn. A friend of his is a gardener and told him that doing a different pattern each time you mow helps the grass grow in it's natural "wild" pattern. ::shrugs:: All I know is I'm glad someone else mows what little lawn we have!

I wouldn't mind a different pattern each time you mowed, but DH does no pattern at all! He starts in one direction for a bit and then he starts doing serpentines or going in the opposite direction or diagonal! Invariably, he misses at least one spot--drives me nuts! And he's the "organized" one! lol Even this afternoon, he finished the weedeating because I was getting overheated. I started it but only got about 1/2 of the back yard done (including along the fence line). In half the time it took me to do half the back yard, he did the other half AND the front. I haven't looked at it yet, but I have a feeling it's going to irritate me when I do. lol Maybe I should just not look too closely. hehehe

My saturday was not very fun: I worked (again!) in the morning, I cleaned the house (who desperately needed it) in the afternoon... But in the evening I got a great reward from the sky for my hard work: the most beautiful rainbow ever! Uh, I don't know how to put pictures directly in the post, so check out my gallery!
This morning, I will take care of myself: manucure, pedicure, facial mask, hair mask, everything from head to toes. I'm like my house, I desperately need to be cleaned out! LOL This afternoon, I'm going to a dog agility contest (for work and also a bit for fun) to take some pix.
I have to say that I'm very jealous of you girls with "water photos": the weather here is terrible since 2 weeks: rain, wind, grey skies... looks like january! I want sun... QUICK! Let me check at the window... nope, doesn't work! LOL
Have a beautiful Sunday, chicks!

Hmmm, did the housework, played in the park, pretty normal weekend really :)
Its odd seeing summery photos because we are getting into the cooler weather :)

The girls have been camping out in the living room since Friday night... makes it kinda hard to do anything in there, but it's fun for them.
