WOOHOO! I'm so happy that Taylor won American Idol! I loved him from the very beginning! I like Katherine too, but I'm a Taylor was my vote.

I know! I was really happy, too! :) I heard him interviewed on the radio this morning and the host asked about Toni Braxton. Taylor's response was, "That was more like Soul CONtrol!" lol!!

I know! That's what I was thinking. I don't even know why she bothered. The guys all sounded good together, though, and it was good to hear Mandisa again. She rocks. I loved that duet with Chris and Live, too.


ok--better go clean. We're having company this weekend and they get here early tomorrow morning. Maggie hasn't napped all week, so guess who's behind?! ME!

I was in the kitchen when he was singing with TB. DH said that he was funny backing away from her. LOL!! I have to say that I liked Taylor more that Kathryn, but Chris was my FAVE!! He and live ROcked!!! It was really cool last night. i think it was best AI finale. It was fun to have them mix it up a nd more fun singing. Plus that guy with Clay was HILARIOUS!!! I swore he was gonna pee his pants. LOL!! The final twelve this year are pretty much all really good. I think that is why they could get away with more of the performances than in past years. Now I have rambled too much and you all know my hidden obsession with AI!! :) :)

So happy Taylor won; he's so much fun to watch. I liked Catherine too though. *** AND yes - that poor little guy was SOOOOO funny when Clay showed up and surprised him. I think that was my favorite part of the night! I wished that I had recorded it so I could watch that part again:) I couldn't here TB singing either. It's like the key was WAY too low for her or something-- weird! What about those singing cowboys? I think that they did a good job. I was happy for them. Especially for the little guy who never got to leave his ranch... now he was singing in front of all those people and didn't pass out! Can't wait til Taylor's cd comes out. :) Sorry for the long post. Idol fanatic here!

I too am glad Taylor won. He really was the better of the two. I liked Katherine, but Taylor had that stage presence that Katherine didn't have. I did tape the show. I didn't recognize Clay when he came out. He looked better with his hair the way and not long, and I am a BIG Clay Aiken fan too. All and all it was a better finale than the past ones.

I was rooting for Taylor too! I don't ever see the show, but I do hear about it on this radio program I listen too. :) The dj was rooting for Taylor since his audition. Pretty cool!

Yeah Taylor :) I was so happy he won - he's been a fav of mine right from the start! All in all a pretty fun finale - seriously though, what was up with Clay's hair? LOL!

ME too! I loved him from the first time Simon gave him the thumbs down. I thought then..wouldn't it be cool if he won. He's very different from all the other winners and I like that!!

I couldn't really get into this season for some reason (although this was the best finale show yet) but if CHris couldn't win, the next best person definitely did!

While I still believe Chris was robbed, I'm very glad that Taylor won this year! He was my second favorite after Chris.

As for not being able to hear Toni Braxton--I read that her mic wasn't working.
