Are you left- or right-brained?

I would imagine many scrappers are right-brained (creative, intuitive) but I'm left-brained (logical, analytical) so I wonder what our breakup is. Maybe I'll make it a poll, but likely you need to actually say it, too, for it to count as a post :)

I think that I am more left brained than right. I lean more towards mechanical things than artistic things. That is why I am not so good at designing pages.

I'm so right-brained. I have to have multiple things going on at once. I always have multiple features open on my computer at the same time so I can flip back and forth (like now... 3 word docs, 2 excel spreadsheets, napster, yahoo messenger, 4 internet explorer windows and Photoshop). :) I never get bored and I get a lot accomplished during the day. No downtime... just flip to a different screen. I have no logical skills when it comes to math. I can get the answer (intuitively) and then have to work backwards to figure out how I got there. My DH and DD go nuts when I do math. They are both very left-brained. I am left-brained only when arguing. I am great and logical when it comes to a fight. I'm a Risk Manager and handle all aspects of operations, HR issues, L&I claims, lawsuits, etc. I love a good fight and my left brain never fails me then. ;)

Jan, I agree :) We all use both, unless we had a stroke or something, but I'm very left-brained.

I scored the same as Lacey (6/13) though I realized I was wrong on one of my answers and should be 5/14. I love order, logic, and math.
BUT...I do trust my intuition. I can't stand technical books...and when I finish a book, I really know best how it made me feel, more than the details. I would imagine most left-brainers would sketch out a scrapbook page before they started. But, unless I'm using a sketch, I just "play" until it looks right.

Lucky me. I have a brain profile that only 1 in 10,000 have. I am exactly center brained, and completely balanced in audio and visual processing. (I took a test years ago)

Yes! There are days I have so much to do I can't decide what to do first, so I sit or I will run around and get nothing done. If I am particularly bad, I ask Bill to tell me what to do. He doesn't care what I do first, so he ususally picks something random and then I get going.

On the other hand, I am a good problem solver because I can see both the big picture and the details.

I am glad that you understood that I really didn't think I was lucky to be center brained!

I am definitely left brained.... which is why I do so much scrapping with music on and stuff- got to have something to keep old lefty quiet so that my creative side and get a go. Doing the dishes and cooking are also where I get some of my best ideas. Isn't it funny how brains work? :)

I LOVE that I'm not the only left-brainer here!! I figured for sure I'd be in the minority, but nope!! It's awesome that there are others like me :D
