It's free and easy to install (I actually do it as a service), there are tons of free themes and plugins to make it work better. It's very well done and works beautifully...you can see mine via the link in my siggy.

I'm a Typepad chick! I've never had any problem with them that I recall. Only once when they were doing maintenence and I really wanted to post. lol :-)

I'm with the majority and use blogger. Don't really know what I'm doing though - it takes me forever to get links to my freebies on there and where I want them. Has nothing to do with blogger, just me not knowing how to do it!

Priscilla, I'm sorry I missed your question, but I put a link up for Lacey and you can visit the Wordpress site to see if it will run on Linux...I honestly don't know. My site is hosted on a linux server and I'm using it, so if that's what you mean, it should work for you :) .

i first started with blogger. then i changed to a blogsite here in germany with paying.
it´s a very good site and easy to handle.
i wanted to have typepad but i had some probs with the language so this is much better now for me

Well, thanks to Kathy's recommendation I am now using Wordpress...awesome stuff! So much easier to use and more customizable than blogger!
