Thanks for the heads-up Linda. ;)

So did it say what we should use as the SUBJECT of the e-mail?

Also, how do you guys submit via e-mail? Do you attach the LOs and then type up an "items used" sheet in the e-mails body? Do you add a personal youch and address the e-mail like you would a letter? I don't want to come off stiff and cold yet I don't want to seem over-eager either.

THANKS!

Thanks for the heads up. Darn, they don't pay though. ; ) Yes, recognition is nice, but money talks. lol Don't hate me because I'm honest.

Gina: In the past, I've attached the layout as well as included it in the body of the e-mail. I tend to keep my e-mails short and to the point ... meaning a supply list and thank them for their time and consideration. If you need more specifics, let me know.

Yep, that is what I do too. (I mean, what Robin does! LOL!)

Yes, they don't pay, alas. But it's a nice place to try also. Like you said, recognition is nice! :)

Thanks so much for posting this. Kind of a bummer that they don't pay, but they do give goodies. I do submit to non-paying magazines (for now, anyway), but I certainly can appreciate those that choose not to.
I have a couple that I'm gonna submit for this call!

And to answer Gina's question - I attach the file and then list title, journaling, and font in the body of the email. Always include my name and phone number, too. Hope this helps -

Kim

One more possibly silly question....
do you send a seperate email for each submission?
Since I have a large family, I've got a rather large stash of layouts that would fit into this call.. LOL!

Kim I do send a separate email for each. It seems like it would be less confusing, since I do describe each layout. Then they wouldn't have to go matching layouts to descriptions! :)

Thanks for the heads up!

Recognition is always nice, especially for a newbie like me =). Gotta get to work.
