Do you ALWAYS put a title on your pages. Do you NEVER title them? Half and half?
I realize that sometimes my pages get them and sometimes not, all depending on it a title is just jumping out at me and if I have the space for it! LOL!

What about you?

I try to, otherwise I have a hard time filing it on my PC and finding it later. Definately don't think it's necessary though. Do artists spell out the name of their painting right on the canvas?

Most of mine have a title, though not always something that looks like a title on the page. Does that make sense? lol Probably not. hehehe

Many of my pages don't have titles on the layout itself (yeah, makes it harder to find the file later...) :)

i'm more likely to put a title on my page than i am journaling, lol!

sometimes, the title is all that i need and the pictures tell the story.

Totally depends on the layout. I don't feel like I HAVE to have a title, but if I have a space for it and it seems appropriate, I'll use one.

Oh, I guess I should clarify. I dod "title" them for sake of my harddrive, but I don't neccesarily put a title on the page itself. Case in point, this one's called "Thumb Sucker" (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/21358/limit/recent)on my HD and in the galleries, but it doesn't have one on the actual page.

i typically put a title on mine. i guess it's not really something i ever think about. i always figured it wasn't optional.

I usually put a title on my pages. On some of my layouts I keep the title small, like these:

My Bridesmaids (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/15622/cat/500/ppuser/1147)
Pretty (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/15975/cat/500/ppuser/1147)

I'm actually working on one right now and was debating weather or not to put a title. So glad you brought this up, Jenn!

Im half and half, some i do, some i dont....the LO i posted yesterday, i think was much better without a title, because i wanted it simple Sophia 6-06 (http://www.thedigichick.com/gallery/showphoto.php/photo/21272/cat/500/ppuser/7509) But i did title it for the sake of saving, i have alot of just the name of my kids and then date :)

Ok so im looking through my gallery, and most mine dont have titles on the page LOL...I guess im not so half and half!

Great question - I have a tough time sometimes with this because I do the layout generally and then never know how I want my title to be added without over cluttering my layout. And then I have to wrangle with do I date it or add names and then journaling......but great question....

I'm with you, Darla. I tend to want to avoid titles. First, I don't want to always have to come up with clever titles, and second is the clutter factor. I looked at my gallery and found a bunch with titles, but it tends to be mostly in workshops that I will use them.

I even have trouble coming up with titles for poems and stories I write. I always leave that to the very end. :P

LOL- Darla, I suppose that could be another thread; to date and add names. I always add dates not, but when I was paper, I didn't. I guess I have a fear that down the road, if these LO's find their way out of the albums that they are in, I'd hate for someone to say, "who was that and when was that taken;" or "Is that Jack or Henry?" So at the very least, I add an initial to the page if it's about one of my boys.

Some of mine do and some don't...actually, come to think of it, most don't!

To eliminate that, Ihave very specific file names.

WoW, Lacey! That's a good idea! How do you find just the layout you're looking for later, though, without using thumbnails? Or do you just use thumbnails?

I've been thinking about the date/name thing lately because EVENTUALLY I'll have the bazillion bucks it'll take me to get all of my stuff printed. I'd like to keep them chronological when I put them into books (well, mostly chronological, anyway), but I'm not sure I could. Then there's the thing where I did a few paper pages for Maggie's first few months and then found digi when she was almost 2. Most of the layouts I've done so far are from pics about 18 months on. Not sure how I'll do the baby ones. Boy, I bet my albums are going to be a CRAZY mishmash of styles! lol...what else is new, though? Something crazy from me! hehehe
