I had my nose put back on by a plastic surgeon (well, it didn't come off completely...maybe I'll write the story on my blog).I learned early: if you need stitches on your face, have a plastic surgeon do it, because you won't have a scar :)
(edit: I wrote about it on my blog!)
That's it though...

I've never had anything done....YET. If/when I ever lose all this extra weight, I will be getting a breast reduction... I dream of the day when I can wear cute bras. LOL
I'm also not opposed to a little tuck here or there (flabby chin, eyelids) when I'm older. LOL

Oh I would love to have some things lifted and tucked! LOL I haven't had any actual surgeries performed by a plastic surgeon but I do have to go and see one on a somewhat regular basis. I wish I were rich cause I would be going there for more than my usual treatments. LOL

LOL!! Actually, breast agmentation seems to be an epidemic over in my neck of the woods :oP My best friend, another friend, my cousin and her sister have all had it done recently. And I have learned that as long as you don't go through your areola, you have the same chance of nursing your babies as you do without any surgeries (meaning that the same percentage of women can or can't, since there is a very small percentage that can not produce milk anyway). food for thought!! (no pun intended) LOL!

Oh Jenn I just said that about the breastfeeding cause I no longer have the same boobs I did 2 years ago! LOL So I wonder...if you get your breasts done and then breastfeed a baby, do you still have to worry about them getting all...um "unperky"? ROFL

I need a tummy tuck in the worst way. But, haven't gone there yet...just don't seem to have the time or the funds to fit that in. But, OH, I WILL! ;)

Ok - I'll jump on this wagon. I had a tummy tuck about 3 years ago. It was scary and I thought I was going to die (not really) for about 4 days but it was soooooo worth it. I would recommend it to anyone, but beware...it's like digiscrapping, once you start, it's addicting.

Well my thing would be having boobs bigger than my shoulder blades...seriously my back has more shape than the front... It was quite funny one day when my daughter said to me just after my son stopped breastfeeding - "Did Cameron (my little boy) eat your boobs off!" Children tend to be quite honest so I'm guessin I may need some work done...LOL! Maybe when we win the lotto...
Fee :)
I think my DH would diosown me if I did. Plus it's not exactly mainstream here in New Zealand. Most people would be pretty horrified if you owned up to it!!!

My doctor referred me to a plastic surgeon for breast reduction, *medically necessary* (I have permanent grooves in my shoulders from bra straps, constant 24 hour pain in my back)....
AND THE INSURANCE DENIED IT!
But that was my DH's crappy medical insurance - I have high hopes that once I get the weight off and they are still big (they were last time I lost weight) that my current "decent" insurance will also consider it medically necessary.

No need for plastic surgery here...I am perfect! HA! HA! Really just too chicken!

All natural here!!
I am way too much of a wimp to seriously consider it, but I would love to have my girls back where they are supposed to be.
Now there is this thing - lipodisolve, and I really would like to get that done on my thighs. It is a series of injections, and it works for the stubborn stuff that weight loss and excersize don't get rid of. I know of a couple of people who are doing it and are happy with is so far. Maybe someday.

All I can say is . . . thank goodness for Plastic Surgery, because without it I would be flat! Literally, I went through a bilateral mastectomy as treatment for breast cancer in 2005. My surgeon did me proud and I'm pleased with the final results! Of course, if I had a choice, I would rather have the natural less perky that I had before. . . but, I wasn't given that option.

I'm with you!! I cannot stand pain, I'm even scared each time I give blood! There are some things I would change, for sure, but I don't have neither the nerves nor the money to afford it!

Tana, I bet that they will settle over time. At least that's what my cousin's have done. So sorry to hear that you had breast cancer! Yuck!

i would love to have my breasts lifted back to where they were 3 kids (2 breasfed) ago and a tummy tuck, maybe some lipo on my thighs. That said, i don't know if i'll ever be able to afford it, or if i'd really go through with it considering the pain afterwards. I wonder, can it be much worse than the soreness after having a baby?

Fee, LMAO about Cam eating your boobs away!!
Tana, I'm glad that they were able to create an image that you wanted, especially after having to go through all of that. Living with the altered body image after battling cancer must be really hard. YAY for you for beating it! How far out are you? My DH's aunt just hit the 10 year anniversary for being cancer free (she had lymphatic cancer).
Rachel, hopefully when you lose the weight it'll help or the insurance will give you the go-ahead. Last time I lost weight, mine were still big, too, but I'm going to work really hard after this baby comes to get as good as I can without surgery and then see where things are. I don't think DH would go for surgery, but I can't imagine carrying these things around fo the rest of my life!!

I hope so. But the last time I lost the weight, I only went down really in band size, not much in cup size. *dreams of a high size B/low size C*
I will work on getting in better shape to handle it in my back...but I still think I'm too big for such a small frame (5'3", small/medium frame).

Well, I could get gastric bypass right now, followed by a tummy tuck and breast lift or reduction 18 months after but I feel like if I go for it I am a failure. So I keep struggling with weight that even my docs don't understand.

Once I finally lose all the weight I need to lose (150lbs of it--and my doctors are stymied as to why I'm not losing anything as well), and I know that we're done having kids, I plan to have a tummy tuck and breast reduction/lift done. And if my face is saggy from weight loss, I might just have a face lift done too--but nothing drastic, I don't want to look like Joan Rivers or anything!

Yes, I'm still happy. I've gained some weight back since my surgery and you gain it in different places. But my stomach is still pretty flat. I will see if I can find my before and after pictures and PM them to you. Would not post them for all the world to see.

I'd love to get a tummy tuck. I would like to lose about 10 pounds, which doesn't sound like alot I know after 3 kids, but when it all goes to one spot it isn't pretty! For some reason I don't gain weight ANYWHERE but my stomach. I just wish that my fat would spread out more evenly!!!
Also, I'm in DESPERATE need of some type of boob job - I need something stuffed in there to hold them up where they're supposed to be! :)
All that being said - we would like to have one more child - and I don't know if I could actually go through with it!
