Libby (she's 3 1/2) just said "mommy, how long are we going to swim tonight?"

I answered "Well, a LONG time so our fingers and toes will turn into raisins!"

She responds, "Mommy, you're too big to be a raisin, you have to be mashed potatoes!"

Umm, great, so now I'm a mashed potato????

LOL. Thank you... I needed that. :)

*edited to say*

Don't be depressed. It is a kid thing. We all love you and think you're a raisin. :)

LOL! Sorry, but it IS funny. I've heard all kinds of things from my kids. That my tummy is squishy. That I must have a baby in there. Blah, blah, blah.

Kids.

It will all come back to haunt them someday.

LOL.
Sorry...yup, kids is kids.
:) I think it's kinda funny when they start realizing they're not as big as you (it seems to be a good thing to them...).

I remember when I was 5 or 6, realizing my clothes size was 2 sizes bigger than my age. So I asked mom if she wore a 28! Hopefully she wasn't offended, but thought it was funny...wonder if i should ask??? :D (she was very thin, but I had no idea clothes didn't keep getting bigger with your age!)

Ohhhh yeah.. I've heard it all.

Two days ago Jaime was walking around the house without a shirt and our 4 1/2 year old started talking about boobies. She said, "Daddy, you have medium boobies, I have iiiitty biiiitty boobies... and mommy has BIG GIANT boobies!" :23:

oh my baby sister (she's 16 now, she must have been 10 at the time) asked my oldest sister (she was about 22 at the time) if her boobs would look like "cucumbers" when she got old too! LOL!

How depressing that at 22, her boobs looked like a cucumber! LOL!!!!

That is too cute! My 2.5 year old tells me I have a big belly all the time. He's nice to point out when I have "spots" on my face too. I love baby fat and adult acne. :22:

My 6 year old recently told my mother that she was so old she should have been dead already. She's 57, btw, and he told her this on her birthday last month. And he told me that my face (sans makeup) looks like someone smushed tomatoes on it. I have rosacea. :embaresse
