Talk about bad luck!

Okay, I am one who has always been kinda scared of chats. So the last time we had a chat here at TDC I finally decided that I was going to participate- never had before ANYWHERE! I got up my nerve, entered the room to find that everyone was saying good night and what a great time they had! Ya, I went according to MY time which is central time... it was over when I got there :(

Anyway, no biggie I guess, there were going to be more in the future. So, I get really excited about the chick flick -forgot the real name of it- chat that was last night. I so wasn't going to forget about it or get there at the wrong time! I had company over for supper which I got rid of so I could get to chat. I logged on excited... I was on about a minute and a half when the power goes out!!!! The power in the whole town was out until after 11:30 my time - 12:30 chat time! Of course by then it was over :(
crazy thing was that there was no bad weather or any apparent reason for the power outage throughout the town. Maybe I shouldn't try to chat after all!

Oh - Tamra - talk about no fun, huh? It never fails when you have something you are GOING to do - that something wigs it out! LOL!

Ah, man! DH came in wanting to chat with me right when things started last night, so I was a little late myself. I was like, "Dude, I don't come talk to you when you're watching some Senate vote or something!" (Yeah, he's a weird one. Goofy guy actually Tivos CSPAN so that he can watch it at night. lol)
