Black and white kick...

Boy, I must be on a black and white kick lately. I just realized that my last three layouts were all black and white. Sure, I used little touches of color here and there, but mostly i've been leaning more towards black and white.

Do you find that your "style" goes through stages, too? What is your current "look"?

Oh yeah, mine definitely go through stages too.
I think right now my biggest thing is stitching. Nearly every page I make has stitching somewhere on it :)

I go through stages also...right now it is blk or white bkgrds...Have finished a few that have pp's as bkgrd but really LOVE the blk or white bkgrd look...=P

LOL I don't have a "style" per se (although loving circles right now...hehe). I love doing all kinds of things and get my inspiration from all the galleries I lurk at.....but one thing I love to do is to try and recreate paper layouts just to show that digital can look real....don't always accomplish it but it is fun to try. :)

Darla, you always blow me away by the way that you mix and match papers and elements from a variety of places. You're really really good at that. Maybe I need to lurk in your gallery more and do some lifting. :regular_s

I'm loving stitching, ripped ribbons, and photos at an angle right now, I just can't scrap with straight lines, I try it, but then I tilt the photo, even if everything else is straight.

I finally figured out a bit more about masks and layer effects & all of my recent layouts seem to feature them. A few months ago every layout I did was with green/aqua colored kits. I've been collecting doodles so I'm guessing a doodle phase is on the horizon for me :regular_s

toen paper - I almost always have torn paper somewhere. I also love stitching too.
