I am just curious, what makes you buy a kit, and then are those the kits you use the most?
I wonder, because I am very attracted to kits with yellow in them, and buy them. They make me happy, but to scrap a page, I am more likely to use a kit with blues and green. Probably because most of my photos are out doors and nature kinds of photos. I use the yellow ones, just not as often as the others, even though I spend more money on them.

LOL I have to admit I am swayed by layouts in the gallery. I see kits and sometimes the previews just don't give you the full impact of what a kit has or can do. Then I see a layout and well - I have to have it. I don't necessarily go for colors but do like kits that can be used for several purposes (kind of a way of justifying the purchase) or have that real look per se.
I am also blessed to work with some great designers so it takes a lot for me to go purchase other things so I generally look for awesome elements because I have tons of paper....and oh a good deal....I hunt for sales. :)

I go for kits that I have seen used and caught my eye or look like they could be used for MANY LO's. I like *paper* embellishments too like flowers, chipboard, ribbon, etc.

I usually go for the overall look of a kit. Sometimes colors catch my eye, but with all of the hundreds of kits I have, I am now being a little more selective. I look for cool new embellishments or more intricate paper. Embellishments are the kicker lately.

I hate to say this.. but Im a freebie junkie.. and tend to snag everyone I see.. and then when its time to actually scrap.. I end up making my own elements.. its sad!
Im hoping by getting more involved in this group.. my bad habbits will change!

I go with color and feel of it. I like purples, blues & greens in muted tones. Nothing to bright or too clean. I also almost always have a purpose in mind for it when I buy it. I'll put it on a wish list or write it down for reference if I like th kit but can't think of a use for it...most of the time. If there is a good sale on I might buy stuff I have no immediate use for or buy kits that outside my normal style just for variety.

I find that I am attracted to the colors and elements in a kit and it usually turns out to the desiger I will buy the most. Colors do have a big impact on me.

I am with you! Even though I have more digi kits than I will ever use, I still pick up the freebies. I am often surprised how often the freebie kits get used vs the kits I paid for. Of course, the boutique here has some really, really yummy freebies right now!

sometimes its a color or a effect of a freebie that I re create..
often when I get full kits.. I have too many choices.. and I end up not using hardly anything because of that..

Sometimes it is the theme that catches my eyes, sometimes I am looking for a particular color.
I scrap my daughter in pink and purple hues, my son in blue hues and primaries.
I just look at the overall package in the end, if it is something I will be scrapping with more than once, also.
