I just updated my blog with photos and some stories from Nate's trip to New Orleans with relief work. Come check it out and see how much the New Olreans damage hasn't changed!

Its such a mess down there still, i cant beleive the amount of houses that havent been touched since before the hurricane, although i know alot of these people will probably not return to New Orleans, we had a shelter here in town, and alot of those people opted to just stay here. :( its sad.....I sure wish i could get down there and help out!!

Let Nate and the kids know, job well done!!

I wish I could help too, but physically and emotionally unable to. I sure would like to know where all the millions that has been raised to help these people went. From those pictures it dosen't look like any of the homeowners got money to put their houses back together. Dh & I will keep praying for them though. Thanks for sharing those pictures.

one of my dear friends lives in Gulfport MS. She had damage to her home and it is still horrible there. Of course New Orleans gets the most attention, unfortunately everyone down there still needs tons of help. If you'd like to see her steps through this tragedy, this is her blog. http://thoughtsfromthegulfcoast.blogspot.com/

I've got to go check out Andrea's photos now.

Laura, thanks for sharing that blog. For some odd reason, I enjoy following people's journey through things in life, both sad and happy.

And you know, our President extend's our country's hand out to every other country.... Yet we can't even help out here in the most hit places, at the most difficult times of OUR CITIZENS' lives??

That is where I will stay with that one, I might go off in a horribly ranted tangent.

Unfortunately I can't view the pictures on your blog right now (I just see Red X's) but I can imagine the horrible devastation. I can't uimagine that we can't come together a s a nation to clean it up. :( My heart breaks for all those effected.

Wow! I didn't leave a comment on your blog, but that was amazing! I am so glad the kids are getting to experience this, but it must be so disheartening for those who still live under those conditions.
