I was thinking about how easy it is to act a way with people you don't 'know' or 'see' (thinking like online buddies) and wondering if anybody finds differences in thier personalities.

I think the only difference for me is i am more shy in real life I dont talk to people as easy as online. Other than that I try to stay to to who i am .

I think I am pretty much the same IRL and online. Although, online I may be a bit more reserved because I can be pretty sarcastic IRL and that is hard to pick up online.

I'm much quieter in real life...until you get to know me. I'm a wallflower but will talk to people who approach me, and here I'll jump in on a conversation :D

I'm a bit more sarcastic in real life, but have learned like everyone else that it doesn't translate well in text!

I think I'm pretty much the same, people always tell me how positive I am. Funny thing is, I see myself as quite negative with my own life. I can be sarcastic too. But if I have something to say, I say it.

I agree with others.. I am the same in both places. but I am much more shy in real life.. but in both places I tend to stick my business in when ever possible..lol

ETA: Another thing I find true for myself both online and IRL - I don't say things that I don't mean. I'm not one to go up and say - "what a pretty baby" when I don't think so....even though they all are pretty darn cute lol. I only mention that b/c even w/all my gallery comments I still get inspired and just love staring at all the cuties out there.

I am more reserved irl because of my work and because I don't like to share life things with most outside my immediate family. Online I more relaxed and outgoing but still have that reserve part around me....just a safety thing I think....

I am obviously the odd ball here. I am more shy here than IRL. IRL people are always looking at me like they can't believe I said what I did, or did what I did. I have very little sense of embarrassment, which means I can just go out and have fun. I don't like to be the center of attention, however. I am more like an uninhibited prop for others. My main focus every day is to make others happy, and I work hard at it, too! Oh, and I used to be sarcastic, but DH hates it so much that I had to give it up.
