drunk. And i know i'll be embaressed tomorrow for writing this. but i miss all of you here! this summer has been so busy and full me for me. not used to it. last summer i was NOT doing well (mentally) and i was either out all night running arournd, or hiding inside and typing away on= the computer. i never imageined tha ti would have such a fun summer this year, and enjyou it so much that i didn't WANT to be online. but i really am having a GREAT summer. i miss being online and connecting with my pals, but at the the same time, sitting on the front porch and watching my kids ride bikes and hitting the gym everyday and watching movies with dh everynight is SO wonderful for me. real life, not scaring me a bit. not having to hide behind my laptop screen.

i sound silly, i know. but i really love this place, love all of you and our passion for all things digital and meaninguful.

SHUT ME UP!

Girl - I totally know what you mean! Last summer, dh was working out of town so I kept myself busy on the comp... this year, it's been waaaaay busy for me, too! VBS, outings, getting our house worked on - wow! I don't think I've ever done this much in just a few short months, lol! But I miss TDC, too. Can't wait til things slow down a bit and I can design and scrap! :)

OH! And you are so loved around here, lol! :60:

Val you are too funny! I should take some advice from you...no not the one to go get drunk and post a funky post, the one to get out from behind the computer and spend time with my boys. I guess I need to take the hint when my mom asked my boys, so what's your mom doing and the older one says, what does she always do, she's on the computer.

Well what he doesn't realize is that most of that computer time has been 24 digital layouts and finishing my masters classes. :)~ Kids

:teeth_smi Val, you are hilarious! We love you here - you know that! I'm so very glad that you are having such a great time with your family this summer. You are missed around here, but it is spending time with your family that makes life worth while. (we at TDC are just an added bonus!) Sorry to hear you had a bad year last year! Mine wasn't that great and right around Christmas time I went thru a small spat of depression! I worked for my family's automotive company for 14 years and found out last October that they were closing their doors. Husband worked there also. We were in the process of building a larger, more expensive home. Just sold my husband's house after it had been on the market for 9 months. Moved into his aunt's small condo temporarily until the new house was finished. Last November husband found a new job. I stayed to help my step-dad put financial documents in boxes for the bankruptcy lawyer. All of us worked there for many years (except my husband). We were all a big family. December I got really sick. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary on New Year's Eve! Took a month off so we could get settled in the new house in January 5 then 3 days later I started my new job and I'm still here. It was a tough year, but I tell my husband all the time, if we can get thru all that we can survive anything!!

Keep your chin up! And get some aspirin!!
