I've been designing elements and wordart for LiddysLoft for a few months now but hated making papers so never attempted a full kit. I've learned a few things recently that gave me the desire to go for it and make my first full kit. I put the papers on my blog as a preview and would love to hear some opinions.

Of course, this is all my own opinion, but I think that the 3 keys to great digital paper are the texture, the color combo, and the "feel"- giving it a little depth with distressing, a little age, or a crisp feel. The colors that you chose work very well together and the aging that you've given them makes them feel very usable. Can't tell about the texture from the preview. I think it's a super 1st set of papers. I know mine couldn't hold a candle to yours! LOL!

I agree with Jenn... it is hard to see the texture, but they look great by what you can see. It will be neat to see the elements you come up with. I like the ideas you have for them. :)

I finished the majority of the elements I wanted to create... my ideas took a turn much different than I intended but anyway... I still want to include an alpha.

Anyway... just was wondering if you would be willing to hop back over to my blog and share your thoughts with what I've added. Also... I tried to enlarge the paper to get a better idea of the texture. Let me know what you think.

I just saw that I had no other post here, which is wierd because I KNOW that I commented before on the papers. Sometimes I think I hit a preview button or something instead of submit - silly me! Anyway, I just wanted to say (again) that I love the color scheme.

I think its a great looking kit, unfortunately texture is hard to show in preveiws sometimes, but i think they look great!!

melissa, i think your kit is really really good! the embellishments are really spectacular and the distressing and design of your papers are very 'mature'...what i mean by that is that it shows that you put thought and effort into them and they have a sophistication about them...they're not flat...they really look 'designed' does that make sense? i seriously think you are headed in a wonderful direction! can't wait to see more of your work!! :)
