Prayers for my little Annie, please?

Bright and early tomorrow morning, we are headed off to Pittsburgh Children's Hospital for my six year old, Annie. She will be having a series of cardiology tests done to check on what appears to be some form of arrhythmia. We are most concerned, primarily, because I have a history of Wolfe-Parkinson-White Syndrome, which is a congenital heart defect which causes a form of arrhythmia. And, I have had two cardiac ablations myself, so we need to rule out WPW in her, as well as anything else major.

For those of you who would, please keep Annie and her doctors in your prayers. Thank you! :D

Thank you all so much! Everything is GREAT with Annie. The doctor said that Annie has something called a "sinus arrhythmia", which is actually nothing dangerous at all. It's just that when she breathes, the natural fluctuations that occur in everybody's heart rate are much more pronounced in her. She's healthy as a horse! WHEW! :D She will most likely grow out of this as she gets older.

He also said that she doesn't have the "delta wave" which is prominent in /most/ people with Wolfe-Parkinson-White. So, while it is possible that she could have it, it is not as likely. (If you have the Delta wave, then it you definitely have it, but you /can/ have it without the delta wave, kwim?) :p Anyway, the doctor said that he doesn't have any concerns about her right now. She's good to go, and only needs to come back if she would start having symptoms. And, since the defect is congenital, he just recommends that I continue to watch all three children for symptoms.

I didn't realize how much stress I was under about this. I was perfectly fine through all the tests, and when the doctor told me she was fine, I was all smiles. Then, I got out to the van and was talking to my husband about it and I just started bawling in relief!!! :D

Oh, I'm so glad that all is well, Ange!!! I've had that same delayed reaction to stuff, too, and it always seems to be when I talk to my DH about it. lol I'm so happy that she's great and healthy! Yippee!!

Oh Ange I am so glad she is alright. Our God is so good. I believe that everything will be fine. Just hang onto to that thought. I cried with you girl. Now you can relax and enjoy your babies. I am happy for you.
