Are you floating away down in Tucson? They keep showing flooding on the TV down there? Is it isolated or everywhere?

I haven't been washed away yet LOL But, we are having some pretty major raging rivers! A friend of mine who lives near the Santa Cruz actually moved her furniture to her second floor because the river had flooded almost to their backyard! They're saying that this is actually worse than the 1983 floods (when an office building was washed into the Rillito River!), but the improvements made have limited the damage its caused. Definitely a lot of mess around though!

Man... how scary! It seems so weird to think of floods in AZ... not that I've ever been there, but I just always imagined it to be dry.
Hang in there!!!

Kimberlee - it's so dry that when it rains, the ground is so hard that it can't absorb the water, so it floats on top and creates floods! We have all these "rivers" everywhere that are dry beds. Created to catch the run off when it does rain so it has somewhere to go, KWIM?
