mike fixed our washing machine sunday night. i'm in laundry heaven! no longer will i lose two days a week at my parents' house, washing clothes. :D
i'm sitting here, working on a kit, when my four year old comes running out of the laundry room, yelling 'the washing machine is shaking! come on guys, come on!' i didn't think anything of it- we have a front load washer and my kids love to watch it (i don't blame them, i like watching the clothes go around too, lol).
the washing machine is in it's final spin, and i hear, from my laundry room, all three of my kids going 'ahhhhhhh' in that wobbly shaky voice which only means one thing.
they are hugging my washing machine.
yep. my kids are easily amused.

LOL LOL LOL! Ah the simple things that keep children amused. This is a funny story and you need to do a LO of that scene.

that really did make me LOL -- our old washer had a funny habit of taking a walk across the floor on loads of towels
ange, I had to corral the mouth of one my kids who just could NOT quit inserting "poop" in EVERY conversation. told her she would have to do an extra job every time she said it -- it stopped pretty fast!

Good idea, Christine! I tried the old "send 'em to sit in time out in the bathroom" when they have a potty mouth...but it doesn't work when they BOTH do it at the same time (they're not allowed in my bathroom). We have a "Behavior Wheel" for fighting with each other, and I consider that fighting, even if they're kind of giggling when they do it. Today's spin had Annie cleaning her brother's room and Ben giving Annie one of his favorite toys for the rest of the week! We shall see if it works...tomorrow is another doodoo...I mean DAY! ;) :D
