Well ladies, thanks for all your prayers and thoughts. Buckwheat is home, but very groggy from the anastetic. I had to carry the poor thing up the stairs because he didn't have the strength to climb them. The dr. said the growth was really large and that it had been affecting his breathing long before we even discovered it. I won't have the lab results on it until Wednesday or Thursday. We have to keep him calm for the next few days and walk him to the lawn to go potty. His run is nothing but dirt and he can't get that up is nose. So my poor little guy is gonna be restricted for the next few days. Other than that he is fine. Only one stitch in the nose and that will go away on its own. The bill was quite high and we had to make payment arrangements because we are on a fixed income. This vet normally does not do that. They usually want the cash up front. So that was an answer to prayer too. It will take several months to pay off, but at least I have my dog. Thanks again for all your thoughts and prayers.

Great for Buckwheat, and good for the payment plans. How vets could sometimes be more expensive thans docs for humans???

Thank you so much ladies. I feel so much better knowing that I am going to have my boy for a few more years. He's such a good dog. I hope to do a LO of him soon so you all can see him. I appreciate so much all the thoughts, good vibes and prayers that have been coming our way. You all are the best! I mean that.

He really is such a sweet dog. He even gives hugs. He's really well behaved and you should have seen him when he was a puppy.... SO cute!

Right now I work at a Vet Hospital, and I was happy to hear that your vet was able to work with you on a payment agreement. I am glad that your puppydog is on his way to recovery. I know from personal experience as well, how difficult it can be when our furry family members are 'sick', in one form or another.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Aww - so glad he's home, Chris! That sucks about the vet bill, but I'm so glad you were able to arrange payments with the Vet. The was VERY nice of him! :)
Can't wait to see your layout of Buckwheat!
