If you are planning to make personalized digiscrapped calendars for gifts this year?
I believe I am breaking down and doing it, but I am doing it a bit differently.
I am thinking of starting off with one of those flip albums that stand up on the table/desk. Then I will scrap 4x6 LOs of calendars. So, say when my MIL flips to January, she will see January with a calendar LO and then on the other side, there is just a regular LO of some sort. Does that make sense?
So it works as a calendar on one side and on the other side (where her clients sit) would be a 4x6 LO of some sort. And it will change out each month, but she won't have to do the changing!!
I am making one for my MIL, FIL, and my DH. They will all have the same stuff, though. LOL Ah, the magic of making the LOs but Walmart printing them!! LOL

That's a fun idea!
Last year I made calendars and DH's job (the printing) ended up being really tough, so I'm trying to figure out how to make that easier. That might work!! :) Thanks for sharing your creativity :D

I was thinking about doing the planner-type calendars for my group of really close friends... putting the dates of their b-days, anniversaries, other important stuff (like when to plan a "getaway girls" weekend)... but I'm trying to figure out how I want to do it because I don't want to spend a bajillion dollars for printing. Has anyone else printed a planner-type calendar?
The rest of my family really wouldn't appreciate a scrapped calendar. My MIL & FIL might... but DH's SIL always does a calendar for them with her family on it, so it would be redundant.
I am going to do a scrapped page on canvas for my one SIL. She always calls me "Crafty McCrafterson" in a snotty way... so I'm going to craft her some gifts. :) My mom was thinking we should try to scrap a clock. She was flipping through CK mag yesterday and saw that idea.
I like your idea of doing the doublesided one. I don't know if I could figure out how to do it, but I may try. :)

I'm doing calendars, too! I've got most of the months designed so far (they're in my gallery). I'm just designing them as 8.5x11 landscape and printing the calendars at Snapfish. You can go in and personalize with important dates, too. And it's cheaper if you order multiple copies.
I'm so anxious to get them printed! I've still got to finish the cover and the last 3 months. I'd like to have them ordered in the next month or so.

I did calendars using Christy Lyles one from here last year for the grandparents. I plan on doing them again this year. Rumor has it, Heather is coming out with a calendar! ;) I also have throw around the idea of making planners for teacher gifts, but we have way too many teachers/therapists to make them all one. We have 9 total. So maybe just the 2 teachers. I know Traci S. has a cute planner on her blog. I have enough "pretty" non -kid photos that I could use. Still thinking though...

I am going to be releasing at least one calendar/kit type thing, if not two! Hopefully in the next few weeks! Maybe I'll even make some as gifts. I've never done that before!

I have a new idea for a calendar - let's see if I can get it done before I describe it though!

I will. I always say I won't but then people start dropping hints. So I end up doing it..!

I am loving this! So many different ideas and ways to scrap. And let me tell you, Heather! If you do release them, I'd probably still buy them and still do my thing!! LOL

I just made mine at Shutterfly. Basically as a way to get 8x8 LOs printed cheaper, but they had a buy one calendar, get copies at half price deal, so the inlaws are getting calendars! I'm happy with my layouts, but not so happy with the actual calendar; there's some smudging...
