Okay, here is a dumb question about submitting.

It asks you to list the supplies, technique and comments. What are you guys putting for the technique? I don't do anything too complicated in my LOs, so I feel silly doing a step-by-step. Plus I am planning on submitting a few more and it's going to get pretty repetative.

hhmm..I did not even put steps or procedures..I guess I was just submitting to see if they liked how they looked and then *if* (and that is a big IF) they get picked up then I would go into detail about it. BUT since I have never had a digi LO published, I am sure I am wrong!!!! SHOOT...hope that doesn't hinder my chance of getting picked up!!

I just put basic layout and layering for technique because I asked for simple LOs that can be easily done by beginners.....so I chose LOs that were very simple and basic

Andrea, if I send something in, and if there is some neat cool technique to share, I'll list it, otherwise, I don't put anything under that. Having said that, I really don't know any neat, cool techniques... LOL!

Well, I finally did it. I submitted three. I just put basic layout, drop shadows and use of the stroke function under the techniques because that's pretty much all I do... I really need to learn PSE 3.0 more in-depth... LOL!!!

Is it alright to submit layouts that have been posted in online galleries? I've never submitted to anything before and am not sure of the "rules"!

Digi kitty, it is ok to submit layouts that are posted in galleries. Just pull them down if you get the call. Good luck, I love what you've posted so far.

I submitted my "A Day At The Beach" page!

Question: Have you all been using the form or sending an e-mail? I used the form but I feel like how do I know if they got my page? I re-sized the LO to under 100K in PSCS2 and when I do that, it saves it as a GIF - there is no option to save it as a JPG. Do you think this is ok?

I re-submitted the first one. Then I did another of the kids and one for each of them. So 4 in total.

I submit through the web form. I only use email if there is a special email adress given. I don't use scrap submit anymore, but I have had luck with it in the past. :)
To answer your question: I think they have to be sent as JPGS.

they take international pages too! I am seeing more and more of them...one of the HOF winners lives in AUstrialia
