Remember when I quit my job and I was so happy about it? My last day was Wednesday of last week. Well, another sort of opportunity came up and I went for an interview last Thursday. My friend called me yesterday and asked me to work the next 3 days (including my birthday). I will be "trying out" the job to see if I like it!

Waaaaaaaaaaaaa, this is seriously going to cut into my scrapping time this week (and potentially long term if I take the job)! :(

Well, I hope all days aren't like Day#1 because it was quite chaotic to be thrown into this job without knowing the company/products/programs etc. Despite that, though, the hours are really too good to pass up so I will probably take the job.

LOL, well I am up and gearing up for Day 3..... alone! The manager is going to a convention, the owner is going fishing and the other girls in the office are out today, too, so I am running the show! Please please please let me figure out how to work the phones correctly and not sound like an idiot while trying to get the rest of my work done, LOL

As for the job.... its a marketing position for a high end furniture manufacturer. The work would involve (should I choose to accept it, LOL) newsletters, brochures, sell sheets, catalog work, press releases, etc. It is similar to my old position but more intense because I have no background in furniture where I really knew the scrapbooking industry.

I took the job today! I don't know why or what made me sure I should, but I did, LOL..... my biggest hesitation was the summer because childcare is so expensive but Kim (my new boss and personal friend) said we will cross that bridge when we come to it. I will get paid 2 weeks in Dec and 2 weeks in July when they are closed, too. I've NEVER seen PT benefits like that so I am happy already! I can't wait till next week to get an official "cube" and put my things in there to make it more homey! :)

I am told yes although I dont know how much and its high end furnirure anyway, so who knows if I could ever afford it no matter what discount? LOL I am also interested in the new custom kitchens too. We REALLY want to redo our kithcen at some point..... maybe when we get our debt paid off, LOL
