I went for a second filming as an extra on Friday Night Lights and I got to meet KYLE CHANDLER!!!!!! OMG!! He was sooooo hot!!!! He used to play in early edition and he played in the pink mist episode of Grey's Anatomy.
I got there at 10:45. When Scott Porter came in he was looking around and when he saw me he had a look of recognition from last time, smiled and waved. We all hung around while the film crew set up until about 11:30-12, and they started filming an emotional scene between Kyle and Scott (coach and jason). They did about 10 takes from about 6 or 7 angles...
Before the next scene we had a few minutes for a break so i ran to the restroom. When i got out i grabbed a cracker from my purse and this is when/how i met Kyle . With a mouth full of PB/CHEESE cracker. He was walking up to me to shake my hand and i couldn't speak so i pointed at my mouth and kept chewing. He jokingly mimicked me and waited for me to finish and we introduced ourselves. He ran off to do something and came back and we talked for about 10 minutes. Interesting and nice guy. Wished me luck with the terribles TWOS.
After that they got us in the stands and did maybe 2 takes and called lunch @ 1:30. I guess that took an hour or so. During lunch i first spoted Taylor and Minka (tim and Lyla). When we got back to the stands those two were sitting directly behind me. We did about 15 takes of different plays from different angles.
Then it was time for a scene i probably shouldnt talk about, that was between Jason, Tim and Lyla. Awesome acting on J's part is all I will say. They sent some of us out for most of the 10 or so takes.
Then it was another day and i had to change and we did about 10 0r 15 takes of that. One of them with me coming out of the bathroom because i really needed to pee and they wanted to keep filming and it IS natural for someone to come out of powder room, right?!
Long, fun, exciting day!!!
ooh... and i felt it would be more professional NOT to ask for an autograph or photo with any of the actors.
