What's everyone up to today???

Michael didn't get home till 4am last night from work. Had to fix a (really) broke plane before they could come home. So I've been trying to keep the boys occupied until 9:30 to let him sleep! Yay - it's almost time now! I made a new Oct. desktop (nothing fancy) and need to do Chick's Life and edit the baby photos I took and send them to them. How's that for a run on sentance???? Matthew is a little croup-y too - yuck. Only day one, so it's going to get worse, I think...

What's eveyone else up to???

We went to Mass this morning. Dylan has a birthday party to go to this afternoon and I am planning to park my butt right here and work on the next set of Duplicates! :)

My dh is going to a Redskins football game with a bunch of guys from work and he left at 8am and won't be home til after 7pm so the kids and I are not doing anything per se!!! But I want to get the house picked up and I want my daughter to get her room picked up which will be an all day project of me making sure she is doing what she should be doing which means up and down the stairs checking on her (lots of exercise). I plan to spend my day right here scrapping in between my stair spurts! It is a beautiful Fall day. Skies are blue and there is a crisp breeze and it's 61 out now so I should be enjoying it outside, but I just don't feel like it so I'm pretending it's raining. LOL!

hmmmm....I'm doing laundry probably all day today. I went into the attic to get the hand-me-downs for Jackson. Packed up all the old clothes that don't fit my boys anymore. Cleaned out the messy hall closest and my bedroom closet (sort of). Now I'm just waiting for our chicken to come off the grill so we can have some lunch. Maybe I'll sneak in a shower sometime later today. LOL

Michelle, sorry Matthew isn't feeling well.

Rachael, I can't wait to see those duplicates!

So far laundry (lots & lots ewww) and just finishing up our lunch. My girls are supposed to have been cleaning their room for about 3 hours now. Let's just say it doesn't look any better than it did when they began. Rob's watching football now, but is getting ready to head up to the school to work on his report cards that have to be done this week. He is also supposed to be calling his Mom to watch the girls tonight so we can go out for a quiet dinner just the 2 of us! And sometime today I need to fit in some scrapping! Busy day here that's for sure!

Yeah - I have a load of laundry in too, with at least 2 more to do. We actually had a "cold front" through here yesterday and I was able to open all the windows yesterday afternoon at like 4pm. I've been able to open them at about 8pm, but not that early yet this year! :) I am slowly closing them, for I can feel the heat now. DH just left for work and won't be home until 11:30pm (hopefully not later!), so it's just us now.

Thanks on Matthew, Jenna and Nikki! It's so weird - he hasn't had it in a YEAR, which is really long for him. He got it every 3 months for around 2 years. Last year they wanted to admit him at Phoenix Children's, it was so bad and they couldn't get it under control. This year - it's not bad, but I can hear it rattling in his chest. He woke up 2 times last night, I took him outside until he was breathing better and then he was fine. I can tell it's getting a little worse, but he's not cranky or anything. We do have a breathing machine this time, so I can give him a treatment. We haven't had to use it yet and I was shown how to set it up a year ago, so I hope I remember how...

Rachael - can't wait to see!
Michele - we have a playroom to pick up at some time - ugh!
Nikki - I need to do closets too - double ugh!
Shawna - dinner out alone again - cool! ;)

Yeah - he really scared me last year, so since it's not so bad this time, I'm a little more relaxed. He's just had it so much too. We have an appointment on 1st thing Monday morning for something else, so I'm have them look at him for it then too...

ugh, I worked all day! I even envy you girls who had a laundry day! LOL

There was a party for the old people organized by the municipal council, so I had to stay there all day, take pix, take care of the powerpoint the mayor showed to the audience, and even serve meals... I'm just tired right now!

Oh Michelle sorry about your son - I hope he gets better soon.....

Me - tons of laundry and I have declared this a "mom is going to be in her jammies day".....we went apple picking yesterday so might see if I can muster up energy to figure out how to make a pie....or not - David went to his mom with apples so maybe she will take care of it since she actually cooks and not me! My girls are parked in front of their barbies and I am loving that it is finally cold outside.....nice day to be in. :)

Oh Rachael - can't wait to see the new duplicates....

LOL! Glad I'm not the only one who has that problem. Although today it took her about 2 hours to get it done, but it really wasn't that bad. BUT..not she's up there with 2 friends probably messing it up worse that it was this morning. Never ending cycle!!!! UGH!!!! I'm skipping laundry today. LOL! :D

It's now 3pm here & their room is STILL not clean! I went in & picked up the toy room cause it wasn't too bad, but I'm refusing to do their room, it is awful in there!

I'm making a bit of headway with the laundry, but there's still 2 loads of bedding to be done, one more load each of colors & whites. Plus I need to wash all my maternity clothes that I drug in from the garage this morning since I'm outgrowing my regular clothes already! Did I mention that I hate laundry LOL???

We went to church this morning, and out for breakfast after. Then, we did our weekly shopping, and I planned to spend the rest of the day going through my clothes. You know, trying them on, repairing, and ironing as needed. But, my back is hurting this afternoon, and it is prime napping weather (overcast and cool) so I think maybe I'll get some zzzzs after I update the Healthy Chicks challenge. Or, maybe I should clean house... DH has been begging for an apple pie, even went and picked the apples, so I probably should make that for him. Ugh, too many decisions!

Not much today. I've got a lab practical exam on Tuesday that I'm studying for. Trying to get my lab notebook in order, since that's worth twice what the practical is. Working on my research paper, studying for another exam I have next week, trying to sneak in a bit of scrappin' while no one's lookin'....:)

Angela! I am amazed how much you get done while going to nursing school! Most people I know just have to concentrate all their attention to getting through program! How far into program are you?

Well - Matthew was breathing pretty ragged this afternoon, so I decided that I'd give him a treatment with the machine. We got it a year ago and this is the 1st it's been out of the box, remember? I fumble through the directions, get out the medicine - and it expired last month - argggg! I figured since it was just a month past and had been sealed in a light proof thing that it might be ok. It said if it was anything other than clear than to disgard it and it was still clear. I get it all figured out and put him in my lap, turn it on and he starts freaking out. First he's seen of it in a year too and it's much nosier than the one in the ER's. I fought with him and got him setlled down some, but it just got him more upset, so I only got about 2/3's of it done. Gave him a bath after, he was so sweaty. But he is breathing better now! :)

Oh Michelle - those dang breathing treatment machines are the loudest! Both my girls use them when needed....more so when they were little but every now and then when I hear them wheezing....the machine comes out. You have been on my mind today hoping things are fine.
