Need a lesson tearing

Hi Ladies. Can you help out an somewhat ole lady who has no brains for designing? I need an easy to understand lesson on how to do a tear so I can make one for myself. I have PSE3 and their instructions on using that eraser tool are IMPOSSIBLE!!! Any help would be greatly appreciated. You can PM me if you want, but I TRULY need help in this area. Chris, I have the same issue, but for PSCS2. I found a tutorial that was ok, but it really confused the heck out of me, too.

I can't even create tears very well. It is such a pain! I say just bite the bullet and buy em ;)

Nonnie, I always use the "Wild Tear" action from AtomicCupcake to do mine. I wouldn't be able to do them without it!
