i had to wait for dh to leave for work before i could get on the computer. he's such a computer hog, lol!

now that he's gone, i can sit and enjoy my coffee and maybe actually get some work done, lol!

Well, I ended up scrapping my first layout in a couple weeks since there wasn't anything going on here, lol! So yay me :)

Now I gotta get dressed and get to work painting the trim in my diningroom. Remember we redid our floor this weekend? I can't wait to post some after pics... it's awesome!

Jasmine let me sleep in this morning ('til 8) and I've actually gotten some good stuff done this morning. Nothing too exciting, but some basic clean-up to help make this place look a little neater :)

I am having a horrible week, and today looks to be just as bad. Mom fell, at a concert, in front of hundreds if not a couple of thousand people, Friday night. She tore her ACL, her lateral ligament on her left knee, and fractured the tibia plateau. Poor thing. She is 75, so this isn't going to be a quick fix. In fact, I am getting ready to go to the hospital in a few minutes and get her ready to go to the nursing home. Hopefully it will be just for 20 days or less, but difficult at any rate.

If you get a moment, gals, we can really use prayers for her. Hopefully once she is settled in, I can get back to my more normal routines! (that means actually being here once in a while! I miss being here!)

I have been trying to set a goal not to get on the computer until the house work is done. Boy is it hard Monday and Tuesday I did preety good I am slacking today. I have dishes in the sink from breakfast. Well I am off to take the kiddos to story time.

Thank you gals. Mom is settled in the nursing home for now. She said about 10 times she wished she was back in the hospital. I don't blame her, who wouldn't rather be there than a nursing home? Her leg is immobilized with a brace, and she can't put any weight at all on it. Kind of rough since she has arthritis in her shoulders, and that makes is much harder to use her walker.

I am exhausted! I think I am going to take a nap before I do much 'puter work this evening!

I actually went out and did some errands today. Picked the worst day of all to do it because we're having a wind storm that is so strong it just blew a huge section of our neighbor's fence over. Crazy... and mixed with rain... absolutely *delightful*.

I was at work all day too... didn't even get to pop back in here. Boo Whoo. It took me 1 freakin hour and 15 freaking minutes to get home tonight. I made it there this morning in about 40 minutes... Ugh! And I didn't get home until after 6pm to boot.
