Got the final word on Rodger's health. Turns out he has cellulitis. So he has to stay in the hospital and receive a strong antibiotic via an I.V. As least now they know what it is and can treat it accordingly.

As for me (Laura shouldn't have told on me) ya all know I am the biggest clutz on two feet. Fell down the stairs and in trying to break my fall I spun around but the leg didn't. So I have to wear a brace and stay on crutches. Doctor said it's a torn miniscus. Whatever! Anyway, it has put a crimp in my workouts at the gym, to say the least. Oh well.

Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts. Things are going to be okay and I am really glad about that. Elise needs her daddy and I need my kids. ALL of them.

Thank God that the doctors have discovered the problem and know how to treat it. I don't know what cellulitis is, I'm embarrassed to admit. But, I'm so glad to know that at least the doctors now seem to know what to do to cope.

And, Nonnie, you stay off your feet and rest up that leg! (((HUGS!)))

Yes, thanks for the update! I'm glad to hear it isn't Meningitis...that would be worse than Cellulitis, right? I'm pretty clueless with the sicknesses too...*blush*

And you know what else??? I had NO CLUE that you were Laura's mommy!!!!!! I must have been under a rock this whole time...I just thought you were some sweet Nonnie who found her way to TDC...LOL I'm such a dorkola...*sigh* :P

Oooooh having had cellulitis twice while I was pregnant (during the same pregnancy too!) I know just how miserable it is! You sure end up feeling like you have been kicked by a horse, run over by a passing bus and then just for good measure they go sticking needles in you! After drawing with a marker pen around the affected area!

Wishes for a very fast recovery, but those antibiotics they give you in the hospital and the ones you normally get sent home with kick its butt rather quickly!

And you also, I hope you take care of yourself, turning around without moving your feet is something I do! I thought I was the only super klutz in the world.

Your not a dorkola. Most people didn't know that when I joined because I didn't tell them. I have a habit of sometimes embarrasing my DD and I figured she would be safe if I didn't tell anyone I was her mom. :wink_smil You know that old syndrome??? OPEN MOUTH, INSERT FOOT!!!??? That's me. :embaresse
