Ok, we're still stuck on a name for this baby. How sad is that?! She's going to be born in 3 days!!!
My favorite: Kathryn Ann and call her Kate.
DH's favorite: Kathryn Ann and call her Katie.
Maggie's favorite: Olivia.
For 3 months, we've asked Maggie what her sister's name should be and she always says, "Olivia." Not Kate, not Katie, not Livi, not anything else we've suggested. Just Olivia.
It might be nice to let Maggie have a say in part of the baby's name, so I'm kind of thinking maybe Kathryn Olivia.
If we do that, though, DH will call her Katie, i'll call her Kate, and Maggie will call her Olivia. Am I dooming her to a life of confusion?! lol
What would you do? (And which would you pick?)

OMG! 3 Days!!! I can't believe it! And I can't believe you don't have a name picked out either! LOL
I think all the names are great. I'm gonna go with Kathryn Ann. I like both nick names for her though. Sorry I'm not that much help. :D
But I'll go ahead and pick yours though! :)

I like the names Maggie & Katie together! Of course if you look at my girls' names you'll see I have a thing for names that end in -ie LOL! I can't believe your baby girl will be here in just 3 days!! How exciting, I hope you're all set for your hospital stay! Well other than a name of course! Maybe once you see her you'll just know what name fits her perfectly!

I'm a sucker for Kate since that is our puppy's name... although her name is Katelyn Fiona :D. Olivia is a cute middle name though. I wouldn't worry about confusion since Maggie will probably call her Olivia no matter what her name is. :)
I'm so excited for you. Can't wait!!!

I SOOOOO love the name Kate. But, here's one to toss into the mix: I love old-fashioned 2-part names. What about Olivia Kate? Just a thought. I'm sure whatever you guys choose is going to be just perfect!! Can't wait to "meet" her!!

I really like Kathryn Anne and call her "Katie-Anne". I'm southern and also like 2 names together, although I didn't do this with either of my children. I think Katie Anne sounds very sweet though. :)

hmmm...i like the two names together, too, (and we live in Alabama, so it would fit...my niece is Mary Maddox) but DH isn't crazy about that. I tried and tried and tried for Anna Kate, but he said no way.

Oh, and if I had a second choice, I would go with Kate, not Katie...just my opinion ;)

I like Kate! But you know... everyone is going to have their favorite nickname, no matter what you do, ya know? So, to me, one calling her Kate and one calling her Katie is no big deal. Now Olivia is not a Kate/Katie thing, so that won't work. Although it's terribly cute to let her have a say in it. We asked Ryan for input. He wanted to name Matthew, Thomas after Thomas the Tank Engine... LOL!

I have to agree with the Kate/Katie thing, no matter what a person's name is my Mom adds an ie to it! LOL! I always correct her but she does it anyway. So I'm sure others do it too. I love the name Olivia but I also love the name Kate so I'm not much help other than to say I love the name Olivia Kate! ;) Best of luck deciding!

Your not alone, we were driving to the hospital to have a scheduled C-section and still tryinng to decide which name (we had narrowed it down to two) but once we saw him, we knew for sure. I knew I wanted to name him after my dad who had passed away, his name was Edward Jackson. So, it was either Jacob Edward or Chase Jackson. Once we saw him, he just fit the name Chase.
So, my opinion is you'll know when you see her.

I voted for the third choice...both are beautiful names, but I like Olivia :) And I love Katie (how could I not? It's my sister's name) but I have yet to meet an easy-going Katie. Kate, sure. But not Katie.
