that's so funny you're from Sedalia? Do you miss the Wagon Wheel? I've heard their p.b. burgers are yummy, but I've never eaten there. I always stopped at Sonic when I drove through town. My mom lives in Harrisonville, just outside KC. So if I went the back ways from there to STL, I drove through Sedalia. I also attended the State Fair many times when I was growing up, especially when my sister began showing horses.

I actually have 3 sons. Hudson is 2, Griffin is 13 months (they're 13 months apart) and Cooper is 16 yo (but he lives in STL full time)

Oh My GOSH!!!!!!! Yes, I DO!!!! ROFL!!! There's a name from the past!!! I loved their chocolate/peanut butter shakes the most!!! Is it still there I wonder? I lived not far from there - our house was right on Broadway. I miss the BBQ place there in town too - but I can't think of the name right now - LOL! And see - I don't remember Sonic being there at all. I haven't lived there since the summer between my freshman and sophmore year of college. So - how many million years ago.... like 20??? My parents live here now and my brother moved to Santa Barbara! My BF lives in Lee's Summit, but I haven't been there to visit since Matthew was born - so 4 years ago. I keep telling her I'm coming to visit, but it just hasn't worked out yet. My hubby wants me to take him there so he can see where I grew up. His parents still live in the same exact spot where he grew up, so we've seen all his childhood everytime we go there for a visit. Maybe that's what I should do for his birthday.... hum.....

Michelle....oh my...I can't believe it's been that long since you've been back there...not like you need to go runing back for the State Fair or the Wagon Wheel or anything else there......I think the Wagon Wheel is still there...it's such a landmark...it's been 4.5 years or so since I've driven through Sedalia

Hi! Yes, I am in Chandler!!! That is just too funny that you recognized the Santa in my layout as being from the Chandler Mall. It IS a small world. I live in South Chandler (as far south as you can get) before hitting Indian Reservation. We have lived here for 6 years now. Nice to see others from the same place. Oh HA!!! We always hit either paradise valley mall or the Arrowhead mall @ bell and the 101 for xmas shopping, so I am hoping to go there soon. We are heading the other way tomorrow, to Palm Springs.

We were planning to go to CHA together, that is why she was coming, but we think that going to go see you all would be cheaper and a whole lot more fun. CHA was the last weekend in January, so that might be good? I don't know. The end of Jan would also be better maybe since it would give us all time to recover from the holidays. Just let me know. Has to be a weekend for me though, my DH works weekdays. :D

I'd head up to Phoenix too :) DH's birthday is the 27th of January and mine is February 7, so we'll probably have some stuff going on then, but I'm not exactly sure when (some of it depends on the in-laws LOL). I would think the weekend of January 20 or the second week in February forward would probably be good for me.

We have DH's Christmas party (yes in Jan.) from 6pm until 9pm at Axis Radious (sp?) on the night of the 20th. We didn't get to go last year, for he had to work that weekend. Other than that, nothing else that weekend, that I know of, yet... LOL!

This is going to be so much fun. Scottsdale is fine with me. My fave little second hand kids store is there off Shea and the 101, I could hit that place while we are at it.

Since Jacque is flying in, I think it would be better for me to pick her up and stay in AZ till she leaves as opposed to driving back and forth to CA a couple times. I have to hit her up about that idea still. HA!~

how funny....that's Kid to Kid....I used to work at the one in Ahwatukee for about 6 months..............the one in Scottsdale is super close to my in-laws

I was actually just in the Ahwa one by me yesterday getting rid of all of our big things we don't need anymore (exersaucer, Bumbo, etc) and picked up a cool firetruck toddler bed for Hudson

Kid to Kid is a franchise kid's resale store...but they have bunches of neat new things too......in Phx, they're is Ahwa, Scottsdale, Peoria, & Paradise Valley

ok Michelle, you have to go to it......I stopped working there in October....but, when I was there, oh so many people said how they'd never go back to any of the other ones after shopping there...........good quality and very bright & clean....plus a nice mixture of new items

but...I do like Small Change in Scottsdale and Buffalo Exchange too .......I won't go to any others
