Thanks so much, everyone! I went in for the pre-op appt today, and they've moved the surgery time to 3:30pm CST. I'll get DH to send a message along tomorrow night, so hopefully you'll have the good news by this time tomorrow night! :regular_s

Oh, even better news...the doctors are going to let my mom go home from the hospital tomorrow! :regular_s The neurologist is going to treat her as an outpatient and she'll be getting physical therapy at home, as well as having some home-health help, too. She's still having some balance issues and hasn't quite got the hang of walking with the walker yet. Today she was able to take 10 steps from the bed and back, and that's the best that she's been able to do so far. She's still got a long road ahead, but we're so thrilled that she's moving in the right direction. She won't be able to come down here to the hospital tomorrow, and might not actually see the baby for a couple of weeks, but I'm so relieved that she's coming home.

Thanks, you guys, for all of the love and support that you've given me through all of this! I don't know what I'd do without you all!!

Kathyn Olivia Turner was born this afternoon. She and mom are healthy and happy! Kate weighed 9 lbs, and was 20.5 inches long. She has dark hair, and all seems to begoing smoothhly.

Well, when you see her, you'll see that she looks JUST LIKE SINEAD!

Sinead told me to tell you all hi. She's going good, sore, but good. Kate was still sleepy, and not much interested in nursing, but she'll wake up soon. Maggie is loving her littler sister (whom she call's Olivia), and they are happy.
